AQHA notified us that Moose finished in the Top Ten of High Point Jr Tie-Down for 2008!!

Moose participated in the stallion review at Equifest in Wichita, KS the weekend of Feb 15th. We had a great
turnout of some "moose fans" and I think we made some new ones! We also raffled a yearling colt sired
by moose and raised a generous donation for the American Cancer Society.
Congratulations to Madison!!

Moose will be at Midwest Horse Fair April 16-19, come by and visit us on Stallion Avenue.

Congratulations to Emily H of Madison, winning a buckskin tobiano filly sired by Moose.

UPDATE Moose had a great showing at the AQHA World, scoring well but not high enough
to make the finals. Thanks to Troy for riding Moose again and doing such a great job!!

The AQHA Journal will publish an article in an upcoming issue about Moose's road to the world and his
accomplishment of being the first perlino to compete at the world. We will have a copy of the article
posted on the webpage as soon as it is released.
The article was printed in the September Issue. (click here)

Moose had a great breeding season and there will be a moose baby in Alaska 2009 and there

2006
2006 has started off to be a great Moose year! Moose attended the 2006 Equifest of Kansas
and educated several hundred people about equine color genetics.

He sired 4 foals this spring and 3 out of 4 sold prior to weaning (the 4th was not offered for sale)!
See the 2006 baby page for pictures
He also had a successful breeding season with covering 8 mares all of which have settled.
Check out the expected 2007 baby page for more information.

Check out his show schedule and results.

2005
Moose is having a fantastic 2005! We began the year at the MFQHA show April 2nd with Moose taking 1st
place in the 2year old In-Hand trail class. This was his first 1st place in a non-conformation class. Moose
took the next 2 months off to breed mares and we have 4 Moose babies due in 2006!! How exciting!!

Moose is currently at Luke Jone's training facility being prepared to compete in several 3 year old futurities next year. We will post his show schedule as soon as it is finalized.

2004
Moose had a great 2004! He was shown extensively in the MFQHA and did well considering his handlers were a couple of amateur old ladies!! During the fall he was sent to our trainer, Mike Cheshire, for breaking. As expected Moose did great and many thanks to Mike for an excellent job!
